Discover Artistry That Transcends Time
Welcome to the collective!
Who We AreStudio sísp̓l̓k̓ is an Indigenous‑led, land‑based arts initiative on the unceded and unsurrendered traditional Syilx territory, in the heart of the Okanagan Indian Band community.
Our
Business Ethos
At Studio sísp̓l̓k̓, we believe creativity is a living practice for everyone. Our studio exists as a gentle, spacious place for people to explore their own ways of making, learning, and remembering.
We value process over perfection, and we welcome mistakes, experiments, and beginning again. We honour each person’s pace, story, and way of being, whether quiet and reflective, expressive and bold, or somewhere in between.

Step inside the growing heart of nsisúlaʔxʷ with a guided Greenhouse & Garden Tour. This small-group experience takes you through our greenhouse and key garden zones, sharing how we’re weaving Indigenous food plants, medicines, and permaculture-inspired design into an evolving food forest on Syilx territory.
You’ll see what’s currently in season, learn how we start and care for plants, and hear stories about the land, the weather, and the many hands that keep this place alive.
The nsisúlaʔxʷ Food Forest Tour is a guided walk through a living, land-based classroom. Together, we explore how Indigenous knowledge, food plants, and ecosystem care come together in this shared space. Along the way, you’ll learn about traditional and contemporary uses of plants, relationships between species, and what it means to tend a food forest in a good way. This tour is for anyone curious about land stewardship, sustainable growing, and the stories held in the plants around us.

Cordage making is both practical and ceremonial: each twist carries relationship, attention, and time.

Create your own hand-made paper using a blend of natural materials and recycled fibres, guided by artists who work with land‑based practices. In this workshop, participants learn how to turn “waste” into something beautiful and useful, while paying attention to how the land can show up in the texture, colour, and feel of each sheet.
